EAPG Flint Glass Cordial, Vernon or Bumble Bee Honeycomb c1860. Great Optics!
Here is a fine little flint glass cordial in the Vernon or Bumble Bee Honeycomb pattern dating to about 1860. It is sometimes difficult to pin down the pattern variant on these Honeycomb piecess, particularly on the less common items such as this, but based on the knob stem, my inclination on this cordial leans towards the Bumble Bee. Measuring only 3 5/8" in height, it is in perfect condition with a sweet flinty tone when tapped. This little piece has great optics creating the illusion of dozens of tiny versions of the main pattern when viewed through each section.
